Product Introduction

For underground engineering applications, TPO waterproof membranes mainly use L products with fiber backing. For some scenarios requiring high strength, Type P reinforced are used in combination. The mainstream thicknesses are 1.2mm and 15mm. The bottom surface of the membrane is laminated with high-strength polyester-woven fabric backing; some derivatives are self-adhesive products pre-coated with butyl rubber-adhesive on the outer side of the backing layer, suitable for construction needs on damp underground substrates. This type of product is a waterproof membrane specially developed for spaces such as basements, metro tunnels, urban utility tunnels, etc., complying with the national standard GB 27789-201, and also suitable for the special working conditions of underground engineering with long-term exposure and easily-deformable substrates.

The construction steps adopt the mechanical fastening method

First, clean the roof base and ensure the flatness error is no more than 5mm; unroll the reinforcedPO membrane loosely and let it stand for 15-30 minutes to release internal stress; it with galvanized screws and washers in the lap area of the membrane, top layer of the membrane completely covers the fasteners, finally weld the lap edges with a air welder, the weld width is not less than 40mm, and conduct an air tightness test after completion.
